Mr. Jeff Corey, 41, a resident of 2677 Arthur Corey Road in the Farm Life Community of Williamston, died Friday, January 18, 2008 at Beaufort County Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Williamston, N.C. with Pastor David Anderson and Greg Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tice Cemetery. Ray Bonds, Brian Revels, Anthony Silverthorne, Bob Lee Perry, Gary Griffin, and William Manning will serve as pallbearers. Stevie Coltrain, Ricky Perry, Rodney Corey, and Craig Manning will be honorary pallbearers.
Jeff was born January 14, 1967 in Beaufort County. He was the son of Geoffrey Hodges Corey, Sr. and Pearl Perry Corey. He was a lifelong resident in the Farm Life Community of Williamston and graduated from Williamston High School. On July 28, 1994, Jeff married Janet Wobbleton. He was a farmer, a member of Griffins Township Volunteer Fire Department and Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janet W. Corey; his son, Luke Corey; his daughter, Hope Corey, both of the home; his parents, Geoffrey and Pearl Corey of Williamston; and one sister, Ellen C. Nicholson and her husband, Jack of Williamston.
