Mr. Claude Thomas Rawls Jr., 47, of 733 Dusty Lane, Greenville, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, with pastor Max Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Williamston.
Mr. Rawls was born in Martin County on Oct. 30, 1960. He was the son of Selma Paige Rawls of Greenville and the late Claude Thomas Rawls Sr. He was a retired maintenance worker with Simpson Industries. He was married to Judy Beacham Rawls, who survives.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Beverly Davis of Grimesland and Michelle Harrington of Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister, Ruth Ann R. Brembridge of Windsor; three brothers, Bobby Paige of Greenville, Alton Rawls of Washington and Johnny Rawls of Williamston and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and other times at the home.
