Mr. William Lawrence Jr. of 235 Forrest Height Road, Washington, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mary’s Chapel with Bishop Carlton Keys officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Lawrence was born in Beaufort County on Feb. 8, 1944. He was the son of the late William Lawrence Sr. and Lucy Lucas Lawrence. He attended P.S. Jones High School. He was married to Matricia Kinlaw Lawrence, who survives.
Survivors include four daughters, Marva L. Hill, Tracy Whitney and Shenika Kinlaw, all of Washington, and Deborah L. Clark of Jacksonville; two sons, Rodney Kinlaw and Travis Kinlaw, both of Washington; three sisters, Marie L. Perry of Greenville, Eunice Morris of Washington and Rebecca Roberson of Wilson; one brother, Benny Lawrence of Washington; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Carrie Lawrence and Charles Lawrence.
The family will receive friends today from 2-7 p.m. at Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, and other times at the home.
