Mr. Fenner Lynwood Woolard, 80, of 1060 E. Seventh St., Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington.
Mr. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on June 26, 1927. He was the son of the late Chauncey and Bertie Woolard. He served in the Army. On Oct. 17, 1973, he married the former Martha Civils, who survives. He was a retired electrician and mechanic.
Survivors include his children, Jimmy Woolard of Newport News, Va., Keith Woolard and Jeanie Woolard, both of Christopher, Ill., Kenneth Ray Woolard and Teresa Godley Braddy, both of Washington, Sonja Massey of Snow Hill and Carla Paschall of Chocowinity; one sister, Alma Johnson of Washington; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Goldie McRoy and one brother, Dick Woolard.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home.
