Linton E. Furlough Sr.

Mr. Linton Earl Furlough Sr., 72, of 211 General Pettigrew Drive, Plymouth, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Mackey’s United Methodist Church, Roper, with the Rev. Frank Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Furlough was born in Washington County on April 26, 1935. He was the son of Elizabeth Ambrose Furlough of Creswell and the late Earl F. Furlough. He was an Army veteran. He was married to Veronica H. “Vonnie” Furlough, who survives. He was a retired insurance agent with Monumental Life Insurance Co.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah F. Graham of Chesapeake, Va., and Sharon E. O’Neal of Coinjock; one son, John Earnshaw of Olympia, Wash.; one sister, Judy Furlough of Elizabeth City and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Linton E. Furlough Jr.
The family will receive friends at the home.
