Mr. Michael Wayne Paul Jr., 36, of 1015 Climbing Rose Turn, Cary, died accidentally Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Albert Shuler officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker family cemetery off Slatestone Road in Washington.
Wiley Walker, Gary Walker, Matt Walker, Kevin Carrow, Wayne Sikes and Jay Bishop will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Paul was born in Beaufort County on June 24, 1971. He was the son of Donna Walker Taft of Greenville and Michael Wayne Paul Sr. of Bath. He was a 1990 graduate of Northside High School. He worked in the construction business with Brindly’s Grading Co. in Cary. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his stepfather, Hoover Taft III of Greenville; his stepmother, Helen Paul of Bath; one half sister, Misty Cutler of Bath and one stepbrother, Rodney Tuttle of Cabat, Ark.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home of his mother and stepfather, 108 Williamsburg Drive, Greenville, or the home of his father and stepmother, 2264 Yeatesville Road, Bath, or the home of his uncle, Gary Walker, 6917 Slatestone Road, Washington.
