SNOW HILL — Elma Bundy Rollins Fulford went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2008 after battling cancer. Mrs. Fulford was born August 15, 1928 in Beaufort County to James and Annie Baker. She was retired from Collins &Aikman. She was a member of Howell Swamp FWB Church of Walstonburg and also attended services at Monk’s Memorial Church of Farmville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John “Mutt” Bundy, Rev. Robert Rollins and Rev. Nelson Fulford.
Her surviving family includes her daughters, Linda Walston and husband John of Walstonburg, Janie Smith and husband Sammy of Fountain, Judy Tyndall and husband Mitch of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Michelle Price and husband Steve, Brian Walston of Snow Hill and Crystal Weaver and husband T.J. of Winterville; her great grandchildren, Sarah Price, Rebecca Price and Sophia Weaver; sisters Elizabeth Beamon of Chocowinity, Dorothy Barbour of Washington, who was also a special caregiver, Esther Gibbs of Tarboro, Shirley Woolard of Richlands and Joyce Hagwood of Garner; brothers James “Junior” Baker of Snow Hill; sister-in-laws Dorothy Pittman of Farmville (formerly of Wilson) and Ramona Beamon of Snow Hill; step-children Arnet Barton of Holden Beach, Arminta Harrell of Winston-Salem, Nelson Rollins of New Bern, Jimmy Rollins of Wilson, Linwood Rollins of Wilson, Gwen Kennedy of Pink Hill and Jerome Rollins of New Bern.
Visitation will be at Farmville Funeral Home Monday night, February 18, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Farmville Funeral Home Tuesday, February 19 at 2 p.m. with interment following at Walstonburg Cemetery. At other times the family will be at the home of Judy and Mitch Tyndall at 2121 Gurganus Road, Snow Hill.
