Mrs. Helen Frances Riggs, 86, of Aurora, died Feb. 16, 2007 at Britthaven of Pamlico.
She was a member of Whitehill F.W.B. Church and the ladies auxiliary. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Whitehill F.W.B. Church with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the church center.
She is survived by two sons, James “Sonny” Donnell of Aurora and Ricky Allen Donnell of Marshall, Mo.; two daughters, Betty Jane Fry of Carrollton, Mo. and Tammy Jean Estes of Green Ridge, Mo.; and one sister, Mary Ellen Davis of Kansas City, Mo.; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Lee Donnell and Larry Riggs; a son, Robert Lee Donnell; a daughter, Nellie Fern Arndt and one sister and one brother.
The family will receive friends from one hour before the service at the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whitehill F.W.B. Church c/o Pat Jordan, 647 Walls Mill Road, Aurora, NC, 27806.
