Mrs. Norma Jean Goddard Ayers, 53, of 1080 Gurganus Road, Williamston, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kenneth Stalls officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Ayers was born Nov. 24, 1954 in Martin County, daughter of the late Norman Goddard and Annie Jean Taylor, who survives. She married James Ayers on Aug. 25, 1985. She was employeed with the American Red Cross and was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband and mother, both of Williamston; one grandson, Thomas Ayers of Williamston and one stepson, Russ Ayers of Williamston.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home of Williamston.
