Mrs. Edith E. Retra died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Mrs. Retra was born Sept. 3, 1921. She was married to Boyd Retra of Chocowinity, who survives. She lived in Washington, D.C., as a manager of American Airlines and later manager of the transportation department for the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.
The family will receive friends today from 5-7 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service, Washington.
