Mrs. Ruth Martha Miller-Simpson, 73, of 110B Somerset Drive, Plymouth, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Temple of Christ Church, Plymouth, with Bishop Avery A. Barnes Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Watson Memorial Garden, Roper.
Mrs. Simpson was born in Washington County on Dec. 24, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Sarah Arnold Miller. She had worked as an assembler and in general agriculture. She was a member of Union Chapel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Roper.
Survivors include one daughter, Theresa Walker of Plymouth; one great-grandson whom she reared, Stephon R. Walker of Windsor; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Annie Cox and Eva Moore, both of Plymouth.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:50 to 1:50 p.m. at Temple of Christ Church.
