Mrs. Arnetter B. Brooks, 89, of 2710 Free Union Road, Jamesville, died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Plumblee Nursing Center in Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Jamesville, with Bishop Daniel Boston Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Martin County on March 17, 1918. She was the daughter of the late David and Addie Simpson Brooks. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Jamesville.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Lee James, Sennie Mae Harrell and Carolyn Ann Brooks, all of Jamesville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
