Mr. Joseph Michael Mizelle, 21, of 10th Street in Greenville, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Edgewood Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Tugwell officiating.
Mr. Mizelle was born in Roanoke Rapids on Oct. 3, 1986. He was the son of Wanda Cowan Rogerson of Roanoke Rapids and the Rev. Hugh W. Mizelle of Harrellsville. He was employed by URS as a retail merchandiser.
Survivors include his stepmother, Rita M. Mizelle of Harrellsville; paternal grandmother, Dois Mizelle of Windsor; one sister, Wendy M. Peterson of Winterville and two brothers, Chris Mizelle and Randy Mizelle, both of Jamesville.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home of his father, 1432 Swains Mill Road, Harrellsville.
