Mr. Ernest Lewis Davis Jr., 56, of Rockingham and formerly of Richmond, Va., died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Rockingham First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dwight Williams officiating.
Mr. Davis was the son of Lewis Davis Sr. and Ramona Davis of Rockingham. He was a cellist. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Richmond, Va.
Survivors include two sisters, Rae D. Cochran and Patti D. Weller, both of Washington.
The family will receive friends Friday at Rockingham First Presbyterian Church following the memorial service.
