William “Pete” Brooks, age 72, of Niceville passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was born on November 10, 1935 in Belhaven, North Carolina to Paul and Ona Brooks.
Tsgt William Brooks retired from the United States Air Force with 22 years of services in Air Medics. He worked for Metric Systems in Fort Walton Beach for 10 years and later was employed at ACE for 5 years. Recently, he was employed at the Eglin AFB Commissary.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Pauline Brooks, daughter, Patty Cook (Jerry), son, David Brooks (Nikki), Steven Brooks (Christy), grandchildren, Tricia and McKinley Bethea, great grandchildren, Tiana and Braylon Miller and Tyre Bethea, brother, Paul Brooks, Jr. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2008 at Twin Cities Cremation Services and Funeral Home, 1405 John Sims Parkway.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 101 Hart Street, Niceville, Fl 32578 or the American Cancer Society.
Twin Cities Cremation Services and Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
