Mrs. Alice Seay Williams, 98, of 3680 Mouth of the Creek Road, Blounts Creek, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ware Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born in Goochland County, Virginia, on May 6, 1909. She was the daughter of the late Humphrey and Mollie M. Seay. She attended the Goochland County Schools. She was married to William David Williams Jr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Leroy Williams of Blounts Creek; two daughters, Shirley Pough of Blounts Creek, and Jeanette Cumberbatch of Springfield, Md.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Leslie Williams.
A walk-in visitation will be conducted today from 1-7 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
