Mrs. Barbara Gunther Lyons, age 62, a resident of Cody, Wyoming, and a former resident of Washington, N.C., died Friday, April 4, 2008.
A memorial service will be held in Washington at a later date.
Mrs. Lyons was born in Newark, N.J., on October 4, 1945, daughter of the late John and Emma Gunther. On September 10, 1966, she married Roger Lyons. She and Mr. Lyons were members of the Grace Lutheran Church.
In addition to her husband of Wyoming, she is survived by her children, Greg Lyons and wife, Tonya, and their children, Aaron, Rachel and Leah, of Greenville; Roxanne Smith and husband, Merrill, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Bryon Lyons and wife, Ronda, and their children, Colston and Caeden, of Washington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Grace Lutheran Church.
