Shawna Dee Clemens, 40, of 67 Circle Drive, Columbia, died suddenly on Monday afternoon, April 7, 2008, at Chowan Hospital, Edenton.
Born in Livingston Manor, New York, she was the daughter of Virginia Duffy Dutcher and late Richard Dutcher. She had moved to Tyrrell County from Virginia a little more than a year ago.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Madge VanHorne Auditorium at Columbia High School. The Reverend Joe Wynns will officiate.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Wayne Clemens; two daughters, Ashleigh Madison of Virginia and her boyfriend, Brandon Powell and Jessica Clemens of the home; mother, Virginia Duffy Dutcher of New York; grandchildren, Rydia Rauschenbach and Jaiden Rauschenbach and an unborn grandchild, Jakob Powell; five brothers and two sisters.
