Miss Stacey Nicole Godwin, 18, of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cabin Swamp Church of Christ with Adam Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mount Holly.
Miss Godwin was born in Mecklenburg County on Dec. 16, 1989. She was the daughter of Tracey Lester and Lavonda Abernathy Godwin. She was in her junior year at Columbia High School. She attended Cabin Swamp Church of Christ.
Survivors include one brother, Christopher W. Kinley of Monroe; and her grandparents, Brenda and Donnie Galloway of Columbia, and Geraldine and David Abernathy of Mount Holly.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, and other times at the home.
