Ghurman C. Ange

Mr. Ghurman Curtis Ange, 83, of Jamesville, died Friday, April 11, 2008 at Plumblee Nursing Center in Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Jamesville Christian Church with the Rev. Doug Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
Mr. Ange was born Aug. 25, 1924 in Martin County, son of the late Eli Hoyt and Maude Holliday Ange. He was a retired environmental inspector with the Martin County Health Department. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Jamesville Christian Church where he served as a Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher and chairman of the deacon board.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy A. Camlin of Jamesville; one son, Ghurman Curtis Ange Jr. of Los Angeles; one sister Margaret A. McClees of Columbia and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Chesson Ange; one daughter, Debra A. Asycue; two brothers, Elwood Ange and Gene Ange.
The family will receive friends today from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jamesville Christian Church.
