Mr. Jonathan Knight, 52, a resident of 4874 Cherry Run Road, Adamsville community, Washington, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Adamsville Church of God with pastor Nancy Sadler officiating. Burial will follow in the Knight family cemetery.
Mr. Knight was born Aug. 27, 1955. He was the son of the late Robert Ann Hopkins and Miles A. Knight. He was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School. He was employed in the farming industry.
Survivors include three sisters, Luella Godley of Queens, N.Y., Thelma Johnson of Williamston and Margaret Turner of Washington; five brothers, Esau Knight, Jacob Knight and Miles Knight Jr., all of the home, Clifton Knight of Everett and James Knight of Washington.
The family will receive friends at the home of Preston Branch, 281 Grimesland Bridge Road, Grimesland.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Market St., Washington.
