Mr. David “Wayne” Ingalls, age 47, a resident of 75 Bradley Lane, Washington, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Jeffrey Williams, Charles Williams, Tony Ingalls, Taylor Ball, Justin Elks and Mike Peede.
Mr. Ingalls was born in Beaufort County on April 18, 1961. He was the son of Dillon Woolard Ingalls and Janet Silverthorne Ingalls. Mr. Ingalls was a cable splicer for Lambert’s Cable Splicing. He loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. Ingalls is survived by his wife, Cynthia Bridgeman of the home; his parents, Dillon Ingalls and Janet Ingalls both of Washington; a daughter, Misty Ingalls of Greenville; two step daughters, Kristen Bridgeman of Washington, Samantha Bridgeman of the home; two grandchildren; a step granddaughter; a brother, Tony Wayne Ingalls of Pinetown; a sister, Tammy Ingalls Litchfield of Washington; and a special cousin, Earlene Peede of Washington.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home of his mother, Janet Ingalls, 707 East 5th Street, Washington.
