Linda Underwood Meadors, 61, peacefully left her home in Fancy Gap, Va., to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday May 1, 2008. She was born in Knoxville, Tenn., to the late William “Bill” Underwood and Sarah Elizabeth Underwood. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Stanley M. Meadors, daughter Angela M. Worley and husband Michael Worley of Washington, N.C., daughter Sarah M. Campbell and husband Randy Campbell of Mooresville, N.C.; grandchildren, McKenzie Sloan Worley, Spencer Monroe Worley, and Matthew Wilson Campbell; brother Carl Underwood (and family) of Dunn, N.C., and Ruby Ellis and (her) family of Wilkesboro, N.C.
Linda was a gifted artist with works displayed around the world. Her extraordinary personal drive made her a successful entrepreneur. She was a devoted and treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her heartfelt compassion deeply touched the lives of all. She was loved beyond measure and will be missed immensely.
