GREENVILLE — Sarah Elizabeth Dinsdale, 20, died Tuesday May 13, 2008 after an extended battle with Leukemia.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Buckingham Cemetery in Traer, Iowa at a later date.
Sarah, a native of Waterloo, Iowa, lived most of her life in Greenville. She was a 2005 graduate of Greenville Christian Academy and was attending Pitt Community College. She attended Pactolus Baptist Church and had been active in the Teen Christian Bible Study.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Varina Dinsdale in 2002.
She is survived by her: mother, Dee Elizabeth Dinsdale of Greenville; grandfather, George J. Dinsdale and wife, Sherry Elliott, of Washington, NC; uncle, Steven R. Dinsdale and wife, Natalie, of Virginia Beach, VA; aunt, Kay D. Forester and husband, Carl, of Lillington, NC; great-aunt, Elizabeth D. Bare of Winthrop, Iowa; cousins, Jessica Bryan, Anthony Sloyer, Alec Forester, Kaitlyn Forester, Russell Dinsdale, Austin Dinsdale and Wesley Dinsdale.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sarah Elizabeth Dinsdale Memorial Fund, c/o Dee E. Dinsdale, 532 Crestline Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834.
