Mrs. Hilda Mae Reid, 75, of 3314A Moseley Drive, Greenville, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Clay Bottom Missionary Baptist Church, Chocowinity, with Bishop Leroy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Bottom Cemetery.
Mrs. Reid was born in Beaufort County on May 16, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Emma Wilson and William Brown. She was married to Alpheus Reid, who survives.
Survivors include one son, W. Jimmy Brown of Greenville; two sisters, Thelma Kimble and Mable Holmes, both of Smyrna, Del.; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
A walk-in visitation will take place today from 1-7 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
