Mr. Donald Jay Smith, 47, of 96 Honeysuckle Lane, Front Royal, Va., died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, with pastor Travis Boyd officiating.
Mr. Smith was born in Winston-Salem on Oct. 31, 1960. He was the son of the late Jay Cee Smith and Lillian Boger Smith. He served in the Air Force. He was married to the former Saundra Bonner, who survives.
Survivors include a sister, Lisa Tobin of Sterling, Va.
