Mr. Theodore “Dodie” L. Tripp of 635 Gray Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at home.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, with minister Joyce Moore officiating.
Mr. Tripp was born in Beaufort County on Sept. 14, 1927. He was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy Godley Tripp. He attended the Beaufort County Schools. He was a member of Beech Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Zena Tripp of New York; three sisters, Louise Tripp Langley of the home, Shelvry Jean Tripp Williams and Jessie L. Tripp O’Neal, both of Chocowinity; one brother, John W. Tripp of Chocowinity and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
