Mr. Roy Carol Todd, 66, of 128 Askewville Bryant St., Askewville, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Askewville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Freddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mr. Todd was born May 19, 1942, in Bertie County. His parents were the late Johnny Bowen Todd and Tulie T. Todd. He was married to Katherine Rose White Todd, who preceded him in death. Mr. Todd was a truck driver for W.R. White Inc. He was a member of Askewville Baptist Church. Mr. Todd was a member of Charles Hunting Club. He served 22 years with the Bertie County Rescue Squad.
Survivors include a son, Jeff Todd of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Karen Dunn of Windsor; two brothers, Billy Ray Todd of Windsor and Robert Todd of Lewiston; a sister, Carolyn Lassiter of Lewiston; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Walker Funeral Home in Windsor and other times at the home.
