Ms. Ada Elizabeth Adams Watson, age 83, of Belhaven, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Belhaven Community Cemetery and will be conducted by Linwood Adams.
Ms. Watson was born in Beaufort Co. on October 8, 1924 to the late James Stafford Adams and Annie Jarvis Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Dianne Williams and husband Perry of Belhaven; one sister, Alice Gray Gibbs of Belhaven; three grandchildren, Steven Adams, Scott Williams and Amy Williams; one great grandson, Coleman Williams and two nephews, Derek Gibbs and Todd Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her son, Van Adams; five brothers, Linwood Adams, Stafford Adams, Jr., Durwood Adams, Carlyle Adams and Fountain Adams; and two sisters, Sue Carraway and Dorothy Keeter.
