Mrs. Angella “Ann” Mizelle Stocks, 67, a resident of Three Rivers Nursing Home, died Saturday, June 28, 2008
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, with the Rev. Chris Lee officiating.
Mrs. Stocks was born in Bertie County on Nov. 1, 1940. She was the daughter of the late John E. and Gladys Dunlow Mizelle. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She delivered newspapers for 33 years. She was the bookkeeper for Roy’s Service Center.
Survivors include her husband, Roy A. Stocks Jr. of Windsor; three daughters, Lucille S. Jernigan, Beverly S. Bracy and Marlene S. Jernigan, all of Windsor; a son, Roy A. “Tom” Stocks III of Windsor; two brothers, Adrian Mizelle of Elizabeth City and John F. Mizelle of Windsor; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
