Mr. Reginald “Block” Rogers, 50, of Baltimore, Md., and formerly of Washington and Belhaven, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Union Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Saint James Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Elder Barry James officiating. Burial will follow in the O’Neal family cemetery.
Mr. Rogers was born in Beaufort County on May 21, 1958. He was the son of Annie M. O’Neal and the late James Rogers. He was a graduate of the former John A. Wilkinson High School. He was married to Dorothy Glaspie Rogers, who survives. He was a member of Saint James Church of Christ.
A walk-in visitation will be held Saturday from 1-7 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
The family will receive friends at the home of his wife, 701 B. W. Fifth St., Washington, and his mother, 156 Old County Road, Belhaven.
