Mrs. Ottalie Powell Warren, 87, of 2707 Winslow Road, Robersonville died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Robersonville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Warren was born in Robersonville on Feb. 19, 1921. She was the daughter of the late John Augustus Powell and Sarah Keel Powell. On Sept. 24, 1940, she married Hassell C. Warren, who preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1975. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Robersonville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Edith Carol Christman of Matthews; two sons, Glenn Warren of Charlotte and Stuart Warren of Robersonville; one brother, Edwin “Ed” Powell of Robersonville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home, Robersonville and other times at the home.
