Mrs. Lorrie Ann Allen Brown, 47, of 1049 Williams Road, Williamston, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, from injuries resulting from an automobile accident.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in The Shadow of the Cross with the Rev. Johnny Barber officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens in Plymouth. Billy Brown, Gary Brown, Jason Brown, Corey Brown, Steve White and Bobby Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Tony Brown and Jeff Rawls will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Brown was born in Washington County on June 26, 1961. She was the daughter of Warren Allen of Plymouth and the late Mary Jane Wheeler Allen. On May 3, 1976, she married Ricky Brown, who survives. She was employed with Brown-Campbell Interiors as a secretary and sales associate. She was a member of The Shadow of the Cross.
Survivors include three daughters, Faye Bogle and Maria Mobley, both of Williamston, and Amanda Turner of Greenville; one sister, Wendy Bright of Goldsboro; two brothers, Tommy Allen and Willie Allen, both of Plymouth; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Elizabeth Allen.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston and other times at the home.
