Mr. Lewis Wayne Pierce Jr., 29, of 1209 Hargis Lane, Williamston, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor.
Mr. Pierce was born March 1, 1979, in Martin County, son of the late Lewis Wayne Pierce Sr. and Cathy Gibson Pierce Cromwell. He was a brick mason.
Survivors include his mother, Cathy P. Cromwell and stepfather David Cromwell of Williamston; his wife, Morgan Pierce, his daughter, Charlene Nicole Pierce and his son, Lewis Devin Lee Pierce, all of Williamston, and his grandparents, Lewis Lee and Fannie Ruth Pierce of Windsor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Wayne Pierce Sr., and his grandparents, Cottie P. and Wade Harold Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
