Mrs. Claudia Gardner Parvin passed away peacefully while holding her daughter’s hand on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
In keeping with Claudia’s wishes, her body was donated to the National Cancer Institute for research.
Until Claudia’s husband and children arrive in Washington, friends are being received at the home of Georgia Anne and Tom Atkins, 509 Northwood Road, Washington, NC.
Complete arrangements will be announced by Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
