WINDSOR — Mr. Johnnie Bobby Cecil, 72, of 118 U.S. Highway 17 North, died Saturday at the Brian Center of Windsor.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday at Edgewood Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Chuck Grey officiating.
Mr. Cecil was born in Bertie County on Feb. 2, 1936 to the late Johnnie and Chloe Harrison Cecil. He was a retired farmer with Powell &Stokes Farms.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Williams Cecil of the home; one sister, Evelyn C. Farmer of Millennium.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
