Ms. Brownley Marie Alligood Jones, age 87, a resident of 215 S. Asbury Church Road, Washington, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Britthaven of Washington.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery and will be conducted by Brian Harris.
Ms. Jones was born in Beaufort County on November 4, 1920 to the late Lovick and Nora Alligood. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Jones of Williamston, Gene Jones of Washington, two grandchildren, Will Jones of Williamston, Christy Rozeboom and husband Bruce of Washington and two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Trevor Rozeboom. Ms. Jones was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Christy Rozeboom, 1741 Old Bath Highway, Washington, NC 27889.
