One killed, one wounded in downtown Washington shooting
One person was killed and another wounded Tuesday afternoon in two related shootings on West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, said Washington police Chief Mick Reed.
"It’s very, very preliminary, but we have what appears to be a shooting followed by an attempted suicide," Reed said.
One victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital, and police were still working to identify the other victim.
The victims were found in houses a little more than a half-block apart.
