Mrs. Cora Mae Midgett Chesson, 90, of White Oak Lane, Plymouth died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Plumblee Nursing Home in Plymouth.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Windley Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Banks officiating.
Mrs. Chesson was born in Beaufort County on March 17, 1918. She was the daughter of the late William “Billy” and Cora Jones Midgett. She was married to George L. Chesson, who preceded her in death in 1990. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Chesson and Neil Chesson, both of Plymouth and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home-Horner Chapel in Plymouth and other times at the home of her son, Donald Chesson, 585 White Oak Lane, Plymouth.
