Mr. Jerrold L. Williams, 46, of 1400 Roberson Drive, Tarboro, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, as a result of injuries received in a trucking accident in Pennsylvania.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Blounts Creek, with Bishop Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on June 10, 1962. He was the son of Emma Carolyn Nelson of Ocoee, Fla., and the late Edgar Williams. He attended school in Queens, N.Y.
Survivors include three sons, Jalik Williams and DaShaun Williams, both of Greenville, and Nequan McMillen of Washington; one sister, Carol Williams of Ocoee, Fla.; and one brother, Dwayne Williams of Houston, Texas.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home of his uncle, William Nelson, 154 Keysville Road, Washington.
