Mrs. Elsie Oliver Craddock Cunningham, 91, a resident of Plymouth, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Plumblee Nursing Center, Plymouth.
A funeral will be conduced at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth, with the Rev. Alfred Markuson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cunningham was born in South Norfolk, Va. She was the daughter of the late John M. and Mary Spruill Oliver. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben J. Craddock and Clarence D. Cunningham. She was a homemaker and member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary C. Beacham and Catherine C. Allen, both of Plymouth; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan C. Cocke; two sisters, Annie Harrison and Lillie Summerell; and two brothers, Leroy Oliver and Charlie Oliver.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maitland Memorial Chapel and other times at the home.
