Ms. Ethel Coburn Taylor, 85, of Robersonville died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville with Josh Purdy officiating. Burial will follow in Robersonville Cemetery.
Ms. Taylor was born in Pitt County on March 9, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Coburn Taylor. She had worked as a sales clerk. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sisters, Lela Whitfield and Emma Jean Edmondson, both of Hamilton; and four brothers, John H. Taylor Jr. of Winterville, Curtis D. Taylor of Williamston, Sam Taylor of Hamilton and Glenn Taylor of Stokes.
