Mrs. Juanita Beach Gurganus, 58, of 3031 Vanderford Road, Robersonville, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Martin Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Gay officiating.
Mrs. Gurganus was born in Martin County on Jan. 16, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Leroy Tom Beach and Gladys Hardison Beach. She was married to William Gray Gurganus Jr., who survives. She worked as a supervisor with Blue Ridge Shoe Co. until her retirement.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Muir of Robersonville; one son, Tommy Gurganus of Greenville; two sisters, Teresa Lilley of Greenville and Janie Whitaker of Bear Grass; one brother, Leroy Beach of Everetts; and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home, Robersonville, and other times at 1293 C.L. Keel Road, Robersonville.
