Mr. Odis Norman Swain, 84, of 1995 Allen Williams Road, Williamston, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Vintage Inn Retirement Center.
No local services will be held.
Mr. Swain served in the Navy during World War II in both theaters on the USS Elizabeth C. Stanton. He was married to Betty B. Swain, who survives.
Survivors include one son, Ray Swain of Maryland; one stepdaughter, Merry Scott of Williamston; two sisters, Cleo Swain of Virginia and Helen Williams of Williamston; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
