Mrs. Mildred Harrison Roberson, 88, of Williamston, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted today at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Candice Worth officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Roberson was born in Martin County on May 8, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Hyman Gomer Harrison and Annie Gurganus Harrison. On Aug. 26, 1941, she married Jack Eason Roberson, who preceded her in death March 16, 2001. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bear Grass Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one son, Randy M. Roberson of Williamston; two brothers, Hilton Harrison of Williamston and Mayo Harrison of Hamilton; three sisters, Marjorie H. Gardner of Jamesville and Ruby H. Godard and Christine H. Scurletis, both of Williamston; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today at 3 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at 2222 Jack Roberson Road, Williamston.
