Mrs. Frances Evelyn Hilliard Brendle, age 72, a resident of 37 Moore’s Landing, Belhaven, NC, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at her home.
Private family graveside services will be Friday, November 7, 2008 at Floral Gardens Cemetery in High Point.
Mrs. Brendle was born in Randolph Co. on July 28, 1936 to the late Olen and Melissa Moore Hilliard. She married Homer Lee Brendle who preceded her in death on November 13, 1997. Mrs. Brendle retired to Pamlico Beach a number of years ago. She was a member of Wades Point Pentecostal Holiness Church and she really believed in Jesus.
Survivors include one daughter, Renita “Kitty” Brendle of Kernersville, one son, Van Brendle and his wife Terry of Ormond Beach, FL, two brothers, Tommy Hilliard of Belhaven, David Hilliard of Norfolk, four grandchildren, Andrew Lemmons, Meredith Turner, Elizabeth Brendle and Megan Brendle. She was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Hilliard.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven.
