Mr. Bernie “Earl” Leffel Jr., 81, of 135 Oakwood Drive, Aurora died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Bryant Funeral Home &Cremations, Alliance, with the Rev. David Linton officiating.
He was married to Dorothy G. Leffel, who survives.
Survivors include two stepsons, Keith Ritchea of Pittsboro and Kim Ritchea of Webster, Mass.; two stepdaughters, Karen Weisiger of Virginia Beach, Va., and Kathy Newman of Aurora; one brother, Roy Leffel of Michigan; one sister, Lela Bennett of Roanoke, Va.; 12 stepgrandchildren and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home &Cremations, Alliance.
