Mrs. Hazel Crandall Ore, of Manhattan, N.Y., and formerly of Belhaven, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Harlem Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Tabernacle Ministries with Elder Dennis Davis Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery.
Mrs. Ore was born in Beaufort County, the daughter of the late Forrest and Mary F. Crandall. She attended the Beaufort County Schools.
Survivors include six sisters, Verlie C. Swindell of Belhaven, Rena C. Spearman of Washington, Inez Crandall of Pantego, Joyce C. Johnson and Aggie C. Brown, both of New York, and Mary C. Bullock of Lumberton; three brothers, William Crandall and Edward Crandall, both of New York, and Nelson Crandall of Washington.
The family will receive friends at the Crandall home, 192 Slade Road, Pantego.
Arrangements are by Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home in Washington.
