William T. “Tommy” Johnson

Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Johnson, 76, of 4874 Robersonville Products Road, Robersonville died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at Williamston Rehab Center.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Martin Memorial Gardens with Chris Minton officiating.
Mr. Johnson was born in Martin County on Dec. 1, 1931. He was the son of the late Katie Mae Forbes and Joe J. Johnson Sr. He was an Army veteran. On March 11, 1959, he married Betty Stancil Johnson who preceded him in death Sept. 28, 2008. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Gold Point Christian Church.
Survivors include one sister, Lona Warren of Langhorne, Pa.; and two brothers, Joe L. Johnson Jr. of Williamston and Charles Johnson of Greenville.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Gold Point Christian Church.
