Mr. Bryan Anthony Atlantic, 55, of 4744 Jamestown Drive, Washington, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington, with Elder Jessie Keyes Moore officiating.
Mr. Atlantic was born in Newark, N.J., on Nov. 28, 1953. He was the son of John and Beatrice C. Atlantic, both of Newark, N.J. He attended the Newark, New Jersey Schools. He was married to the former Karen C. Caldwell, who survives. He was employed with National Oil Fuel for 24 years. In 2004, he relocated to Washington and was employed at Washington Wal-Mart prior to declining health.
Survivors include one son, Bryan Atlantic Jr. of California; one daughter, Dominque Lester of Washington; one stepson, Shawn Cousar of Washington; two sisters, Karen Atlantic of California and Brenda Atlantic of New Jersey; one brother, Stephen Atlantic of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and his stepmother, Barbara Atlantic of Newark, N.J.
